What is ViralSpy?
ViralSpy is an AI tool for Instagram and TikTok videos that watches the actual video: it breaks down why a viral video worked, second by second, and writes your own version of it. It checks your video before you post, tells you why one flopped and how to fix it, and alerts you by email, Telegram or Discord when a competitor goes viral. It also writes ready-to-film scripts and hooks. It's for creators and businesses who want to know what to film next, and how to make it work.
Which platforms does ViralSpy support?
Instagram and TikTok. You can track accounts from both platforms side by side, and your competitor limit covers Instagram and TikTok accounts combined.
Do I need to connect my Instagram or TikTok account?
No login, ever. You add a competitor by pasting their public @handle — there is no Instagram or TikTok login anywhere in ViralSpy, and it never follows, posts or interacts with any account. If you like, you can also add your own public @handle: ViralSpy then reviews every reel you post (what worked, what made people scroll away, what to fix next time). The only account you sign into is your own ViralSpy one.
Do I need to track competitors to use it?
No. Every tool works from minute one: paste any reel, or type your idea. You also get a library of 1,000+ real viral videos across 10 niches, updated every day. Tracking competitors is a bonus: add their @handles and you also get a ping when one of them goes viral.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT?
ChatGPT can't watch the reel you paste. It guesses from text on the internet, so everyone gets the same advice. ViralSpy watches the actual video, second by second, and shows you why it worked. Its scripts follow exactly what you ask for, use your facts, and sound like you talking, not like AI.
How does ViralSpy know a video is going viral?
ViralSpy picks up every new post from the accounts you track and watches its views come in. When a video pulls far ahead of that account's usual performance, it's flagged as a spike. Slower trends, like an account getting steadily more views week over week, show up in the “Who's heating up” chart on your Today page before they turn into a breakout.
What does the AI breakdown give me?
For each video it scores the hook out of 100, shows the hook and why it stops the scroll, and breaks the whole video down second by second: what's said, shown and written on screen, where people keep watching, the look and the format. Then press Make my version and it writes your own version of it, beat for beat, ready to film.
How does ViralSpy know my niche?
You tell it: three quick questions when you start (what your videos are about, what they should get you and how you film). It also learns from the accounts you track and what you tell the chat. You can change it any time in Settings.
Can I analyze a video from an account I don't track?
Yes. Paste any Instagram or TikTok video link into Break down & remake: you get the full breakdown, then your own version of it. It's included in every plan and counts toward your monthly video breakdowns.
How do alerts work?
When a tracked competitor's video spikes, ViralSpy breaks it down and tells you, with the stats, why it worked and a link to make your own version: by email (one a day at most, with everything that took off), and on Telegram or Discord, usually about a minute after the spike is spotted, if you connect them. Every Monday you also get a weekly digest, even in a quiet week. You can switch each kind of email off in Settings.
How do I know if it's working for me?
Connect your own account in Settings and press "I posted this" when you post a video made from one of our ideas. ViralSpy compares it with your normal views and tells you when it beats them.
How much does ViralSpy cost?
Starter is $29/month and tracks up to 20 competitors with 100 pasted-video breakdowns per month. Pro is $49/month with 35 competitors and 200 breakdowns per month. Starter also includes 200 AI writes and 30 video checks a month; Pro doubles them (400 and 60). The AI chat has no monthly limit on either plan (fair use: after a lot of messages in one day it slows down a little). Alerts on your tracked competitors don't count toward any limit, and every feature is on both plans.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start the trial, but you're charged nothing if you cancel before it ends. If you don't cancel, your plan starts automatically when the trial ends and renews monthly.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from the Billing page in your account. On a paid plan you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. Cancelling during the free trial ends the trial straight away, and nothing is charged.
Do you offer refunds?
No. Because you can try ViralSpy free for 7 days and cancel anytime, payments are non-refundable, including partially used months. Duplicate charges and billing errors are always fixed; see the Refund Policy for details.
When do my monthly analyses reset?
Video breakdown limits are counted per calendar month and reset on the 1st (UTC).
