What is ViralSpy?
ViralSpy is a competitor tracking tool for Instagram and TikTok that detects when a competitor's video goes viral, uses AI to analyze why its hook worked, and sends an instant Telegram alert. It's for anyone who wants to know which hooks are winning in their niche while a video is still climbing, not days later.
Which platforms does ViralSpy support?
Instagram and TikTok. You can track accounts from both platforms side by side, and your competitor limit covers Instagram and TikTok accounts combined.
Do I need to connect my Instagram or TikTok account?
No. You add a competitor by pasting their public @handle — there is no Instagram or TikTok login anywhere in ViralSpy, and it never follows, posts or interacts with any account. The only account you sign into is your own ViralSpy one.
How does ViralSpy know a video is going viral?
ViralSpy picks up every new post from the accounts you track and watches its views come in. When a video pulls far ahead of that account's usual performance, it's flagged as a spike. Slower trends, like an account getting steadily more views week over week, show up in your Insights momentum view before they turn into a breakout.
What does the AI hook analysis tell me?
For each video it identifies the hook type (for example Bold Claim, Pattern Interrupt, Direct Question or Story Tease), gives the hook a score out of 100, and explains why it worked. The analysis is grounded in the video's real engagement data, not a guess from just watching the clip.
Can I analyze a video from an account I don't track?
Yes. Paste any Instagram or TikTok video link and ViralSpy returns the hook type, a score and an explanation of why it worked. Manual analysis is included in every plan.
How do alerts work?
When a tracked competitor's video spikes, ViralSpy scores the hook and sends an alert to Telegram with the stats, the hook score and a direct link to the video, usually about a minute after the spike is spotted.
How much does ViralSpy cost?
Starter is $29/month and tracks up to 10 competitors with 400 hook analyses per month. Pro is $49/month with 20 competitors and 800 analyses per month. Every other feature is the same on both plans.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. A card is required to start the trial, but you're charged nothing if you cancel before it ends. If you don't cancel, your plan starts automatically when the trial ends and renews monthly.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from the Billing page in your account. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Do you offer refunds?
No. Because you can try ViralSpy free for 14 days and cancel anytime, payments are non-refundable, including partially used months. Duplicate charges and billing errors are always fixed; see the Refund Policy for details.
When do my monthly analyses reset?
Hook analysis limits are counted per calendar month and reset on the 1st (UTC).
